Project Introduction
In recent years, the main driving force of Egypt's economic growth has come from the agricultural sector. Local government departments also attach great importance to the investment in agricultural infrastructure construction.
The challenge:
The problem of energy and water sources is one of the most important issues many countries are faced with. Around more than 30% agricultural pumps are not available to connect with grid electricity due to poor power facilities. And 50% farms cannot get well irrigated because of poor water conservancy infrastructure. Nowadays the cost of diesel is rapidly increasing,so the cost of maintenance on diesel generator pump system is very high. It is urgent and important to find a sustainable way for agricultural irrigation.
The solution:
Solar powered water pump technology is a very good solution to agricultural irrigation. The system consists of 15kW solar array,11kW pump inverter and 11kw pump and provides 10m³/h water for irrigation. Electric heating cables will minimize the risk of condensation.

The result:
The system is powered by solar power generation without energy storage battery, and can be connected to backup power supply such as grid power supply or fuel generator when necessary. The system is also equipped with VEICHI solar pumping remote monitoring system. The system administrator can control the operation of the system and monitor the flow and other data information anytime and anywhere through the IOT web platform and Solar IOT mobile App.
