Project Introduction
The Veichi 2.2kW solar water pumping system was successfully installed in UK in May 2019. The water system pumps water from a deep well into the pool in the owner's private home to maintain the pool water level.
The challenge:
Energy and water issues are among the most important problems faced by many countries. Due to poor electrical facilities, about more than 30% of pumps are not connected to the grid. 50% of farms are not well irrigated due to poor water infrastructure. Currently, the cost of diesel engines is increasing rapidly, so the maintenance cost of diesel generator pump systems is very high. There is an urgent need to find a sustainable way of pumping water for agriculture.
The solution:
Solar water pumping technology is a very good solution for pumping water. The system consists of a 3kW solar array, a 2.2kW water pump inverter and a 2.2kw water pump that can provide 3m³/hour of water.
