This innovative setup ensures energy storage and release, providing reliable power to RTG equipment.

1. When battery power is ample, it is discharged through the DCDC converter to support RTG lifting operations.
2. During RTG descent, the motor's electrical energy charges the battery, enhancing energy efficiency.
3. Should battery power falter, the diesel generator kicks in, charging the battery via the AFE active rectifier and DCDC converter.
