Official Certification | VEICHI Electric Awarded the TÜV SÜD Functional Safety Certification, Both Parties Entered into A Long-Term Strategic Partnership

On September 15th, TÜV SÜD group, a globally leading third-party testing and certification organization, awarded Suzhou VEICHI Electric Technology Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as 'VEICHI Electric') the Functional Safety Certificate for their AC drives, which signifies a milestone in its product reliability and safety.

TÜV SÜD, founded in 1866 and formerly known as the Steam Boiler Inspection Association, has evolved into a global institution. As one of the world's leading technical service companies, it provides testing, certification, inspection, and other services to customers and helps manufacturers bring their products to market faster and more efficiently with German engineering excellence accumulated for over 150 years.

Assessed jointly by TÜV SÜD experts in Germany and China, VEICHI Electric's drive products involved reached safety levels of SIL3 and PLe and got approved with TÜV SÜD Functional Safety Certificate successfully. This certificate not only strongly testifies that the product's safety performance meets the requirements of international mainstream standards but also enhances Veichi’s competitiveness in international markets.

With the good intention of sharing resources and promoting mutual development, the two parties both preferred a long-term and closer cooperation and thus signed a strategic cooperation agreement to make more Veichi products qualify for the international mainstream standards in terms of safety and quality control.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Taiwei Li, General Manager of the Industrial Products Division for TÜV SÜD Greater China, Mr. Lei Song, Manager of the Industrial Products Division for Greater China, as well as Mr. Peng Luo, Vice President of VEICHI Electric, and Mr. Hongguang Liang, Senior Hardware Expert and Deputy Manager.
